From Insights to Action: Improving Hospital Safety Operations
Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting representatives from Helse Bergen and Helse Stavanger to discuss their experiences using GuardTools in daily operations – and to give them a sneak peek of our newest features.
The discussions focused on how GuardTools supports both patrolling and administrative processes, with several features generating particular interest:
- GuardTools Command & Control, combining alarm management and workforce overview for faster, more precise responses – especially valuable in large hospital settings.
- GuardTools Key Management, new feature providing enhanced control over keys and access cards in complex environments.
- GuardTools Static Web – now with pictures and instruction bank
- GuardTools Office Web BETA with deviation reports and approvals
– “Det är ju genialt!” (This is brilliant!), as one of our Norwegian guests put it.
We also talked about a tool “Insights” (currently under development) – a tool for visualizing and understanding security data for both administrators and end users and clients – as well as our integration with GroupTalk’s solutions for Push-to-Talk and panic alarms.
The day was full of “aha moments” as we explored together how Helse Bergen and Helse Stavanger can make even better use of GuardTools. We discussed ways to complement their current workflows with new features, streamline processes, and further enhance the efficiency of their safety operations. Features like notifications, saved searches, and the Teams integration were especially well received for their potential to simplify reporting and improve day-to-day collaboration.
As Tore Øverland, Head of Security and Service at Helse Stavanger, summarized:
“Den här webben är fantastisk att sitte å jobbe på!” (This web portal is fantastic to work on!)
We look forward to continuing our collaboration and developing solutions that enhance both safety and efficiency in Norwegian healthcare.
